The Pan-African Mosquito Control Association (PAMCA) is an African member-based professional body that brings together stakeholders in the field of vectors and vector-borne diseases control including scientists, public health professionals, vector control specialists, affected communities and other stakeholders to work together and adopt best practices for the control and elimination of vector-borne diseases in Africa and worldwide.

IMPORTANT NOTICE TO PAMCA MEMBERS AND KEY STAKEHOLDERS

Dear PAMCA Members,

The PAMCA Board wishes to inform members and key stakeholders that the Annual Conference and Exhibition scheduled for 1–3 September 2026 in Nairobi, Kenya, and promoted with the tagline, “PAMCA is back this September with the PAMCA Kenya Chapter leading the revival of the Annual Conference and Exhibition,” has not been approved or endorsed by PAMCA.

In accordance with the PAMCA Constitution and governance framework, the Board wishes to clarify that:

  • Only PAMCA is mandated to convene continental or global events under the PAMCA name, including the Annual Conference and Exhibition.
  • Any fundraising, sponsorship solicitation, or collection of conference registration fees under the PAMCA name is the sole mandate of PAMCA.
  • PAMCA retains sole responsibility for membership registration and the collection of membership-related fees under the PAMCA name.
  • PAMCA Chapters may register and manage members of their respective chapters only, but do not have the mandate to register members on behalf of PAMCA or the wider PAMCA membership.

PAMCA members and stakeholders are encouraged to exercise due diligence and to seek clarification from PAMCA before engaging in any activities or events presented under the PAMCA name.

PAMCA is a membership organization and members constitute part of the governance structure and therefore a very important aspect of the organization. We ensure effective participation of members in our activities.
