of 2006

On October the 17th, 2006, President George Bush signed what may be the most unconstitutional law ever enacted in the United States.
With a single strike of his pen nullifying over 200 years of fundamental guaranteed rights pertaining to "habious corpus" (essentially the right to trial by jury, due process and defense for crimes charged against a civilian), as well as other basic freedoms.
